Their other checker, infer, which is mentioned in this post, is open source and can analyze Java: https://github.com/facebook/infer At this point there are so many open-source nullness checkers that it doesn't matter a lot if they also open-source this one. The important takeaway for me is that using such a tool has a real, measurable benefit, and that there's a crucial standardization effort at https://jspecify.dev/
