https://exercism.org/ is a fantastic resource for learning host of different languages including python, it is entirely free and gets you using your CLI of your computer too and starts from the very beginning.
I encourage you to keep trying by finding multiple ways of learning. There is a romper room style to start out programming in a drag and drop GUI manner called Scratch that is developed by MIT and is often used as a learning tool. You may want to try that and develop some logic skills before tackling a formal programing language. But I like Python very much, even though I come from curly braces or begin/end blocks. Good luck.
