  • LosslessSwitcher

Automated Apple Music Lossless Sample Rate Switching for Audio Devices on Macs.

  • I use apple music due to its lossless alternative to listen to my music. However, the sound coming out from the speakers from my MBP is distorted/muddy and not clear. I have tried going into the MIDI setting for the mac to update the soundcard's sample rate setting. I have also used an app called LosslessSwitcher (https://github.com/vincentneo/LosslessSwitcher) that switches the sample rates automatically between songs. However, it has not resolved the distorted sound.
