Flatbox design with replaceable art

I'm interested in making a button box that has replaceable art. I was wondering if there was a project out there like the flatbox that also has a way to replace the art with. The closest thing I've found to what I want is the crush counter, but I couldn't find any posts of people trying to make it themselves. Could someone point me to some resources to how I could achieve this? I'm new to this stuff so any help is appreciated.
