  • You don’t need -rf all files are under the directory (so no -r needed) and the -f is only needed if you normally have -i aliased (macos hasn’t afaik) or if you want to continue on error. Advising ‘sudo rm -rf’ is not a good idea unless it’s actually needed. One typo and you’re in a world of pain.
