Windows: git (Make sure 3rd party software access is enabled when installing), GitHub Desktop
There is a plugin called remotely-save that allows you to use Dropbox for syncing (I have it setup on Windows, and the iOS Obsidian app). You can set an update time in the plugin settings to pull/push changes. It has been working extremely well for me. You can even set up encryption so your files never touch Dropbox unencrypted.
