  • wincompose

    🔣 Compose Key for Windows

  • On most Linux DEs, compose " < and compose " >, where your compose key is usually set to right alt. This is a very useful way to type special characters. You can get this on Windows with WinCompose.

  • ca-bundle

The Mozilla CA bundle extracted and converted to PEM. This repository functions as a backup to the automated service on the curl web site.

  • Here are some examples from the ones on most Linux distros (Apple and Microsoft's lists are very similar):

  • InfluxDB

  • certificate-transparency

    Discontinued Auditing for TLS certificates.

  • The one saving grace is that Certificate Transparency makes it so that false issuances are logged. CT is now required by the big 3 browser vendors. CAs caught wrongly issuing certs without good explanation have their CA cert(s) removed or revoked. (Though sometimes more slowly than I'd like.)

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
