I've dumped all my MMS, SMS, and Signal messages into Textra with this project and am moving to Telegram. It's good enough for my threat model, and my social circle's already there. I like Signal, I admire their tech, but unfortunately I don't have any use for a messenger that, as of today, only connects me with one whacked out conspiracy theorist.
