  • github-takeout

A utility for cloning all your repos, including issues, discussions, stargazers and more!

  • You can use it via npx github-takeout if you have NodeJS installed, or download binaries from here. It guides you through the process to determine what you want to download and what not. Issues, release information and meta data (such as lists of your starred repos) are downloaded as JSON dumps and as HTML report. It also supports automatically zipping every repo export individually afterwards.

  • gickup

  • I use gickup (GitHub, Docker Hub) because I configure it and then it's automated. Backups that run automatically are so much more valuable than a manual backup solution. If you have to run it manually, you'll forget to do it, and then the whole point of backups are lost.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
