How to commit the actively edited text?

More importantly, I have to press space to commit the last syllable. Search results in the Dictionary.app are not updated with the last syllable unless I press space. I also noticed that the popular gureum input method also has the same behavior as my code.

In my code, I used a private variable _originalString to keep track of the keys of the actively edited syllable. As soon as I detect the start of a second syllable, I commit the first syllable. Handlers are also registered to handle different types of keypresses. This whole procedure was borrowed from the Fire IME.
