Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • emoj

Find relevant emoji from text on the command-line :open_mouth: :sparkles: :raised_hands: :horse: :boom: :see_no_evil:

  • emoj - just type emoj some_text and get all related emojis. Quite convenient if you have nothing against nmp.

  • emojify

Emoji on the command line :scream: (by mrowa44)

  • emojify - replaces all emoji aliases like  with emoji chareacters. Usage: echo "hello :world_map:" | emojify, written in shell.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • pyemojify

Substitutes emoji aliases to emoji raw characters. Simple but sweet

  • pyemojify - same as above, but in python; also available as library.

  • emoji-cli

:scream: Emoji completion on the command line

  • emoji-cli - kind of emoji autocompletion, allows you to pick emoji on pressing s. However it provides an alias instead of a real emoji character, so have to be used with emojify. Available as zsh plugin.

  • shmoji

    a little shell-based emoji picker

  • shmoji - for now the best tool I found. Stores emojis locally, so shemoji download first, then shemoji fzf, shemoji rofi or shemoji bemene to pick from the list.

  • emojicherrypick

🍒⛏️ Choose an emoji and go wild.

  • Here is mine: emojicherrypick
