I did an upgrade just yesterday and found this bug. Unfortunatelly I was playing with xonsh as my primary shell and tought I hit https://github.com/xonsh/xonsh/issues/4762. Took me quite a few reboots until I figured out it was a kernel regression and had to downgrade.
