Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • gcmh

  • It might also explain why I haven’t seen this issue, as I use gcmh in my config to avoid garbage collection while I’m actively interacting with emacs.

  • .emacs.d

My personal Emacs config with any quirks, oddities, bugs, and man-eating errors I live with on a daily basis. (by jimeh)

  • I’d say maybe try gcmh and see if it makes a difference. For reference, here is my setup of it.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • prelude

Prelude is an enhanced Emacs 25.1+ distribution that should make your experience with Emacs both more pleasant and more powerful.

  • Thanks :)… it was originally heavily inspired by Emacs Prelude, but has since drifted quite far from it.

  • beacon

A light that follows your cursor around so you don't lose it!

  • Agreed. I've had success with beacon-mode for the same purpose. Making C-v and M-v scroll by half pages also helps.
