Fast forward to now, and Valve knocks it out of the park. I have tried so many things with my Deck that actually work almost as decent as a powerful desktop. Like blender, video editing, MODDING, etc. I understand some laptops can do this but they are EXPENSIVE and thermal throttle way easier than Deck does.
Also Linux is amazing and I cannot wait until they release SteamOS 3 for anyone to use and customise. This is the reason why we have projects like decky. I only see good things for the future of Linux and the Steam deck software.
