Nginx Proxy Manager
Docker container for managing Nginx proxy hosts with a simple, powerful interface
Home Assistant (from what I can gather, VM installs are preferred. Maintenance and updates are a breeze)
Node-red is optional for automations. I prefer node-red to HA automations, but that's just personal preference. You can create notifications in HA or node-red.
Since your server will be exposed to the internet, it's a good idea to set up a reverse proxy to sit between the internet and your services. This will keep local traffic unencrypted while Internet traffic remains encrypted. Nginx Proxy Manager is an easy to use GUI based proxy manager that's very easy to run/configure in Docker. If you go this route, it's not a bad idea to block foreign IP addresses (also in Docker). Note: Docker will need to running on a Linux machine for IP address blocking to work. PM if you have questions.
Frigate running in a Docker container. Frigate requires a MQTT broker.
