I have a dactyl manuform and that style of thumb cluster gave me discomfort. I tried the sweep and it’s very small and I would describe the thumb keys as too “tucky”. Thumb keys on the same plane as your palm like the original dactyl or kenisis advantage helped get rid of numbness and other discomfort. I should note that the kenisis advantage thumb keys are too far from the alpha keys for my hands. I resorted to designing my own dactyl using dometyl which turned out to be surprisingly not all that difficult however I have a software development background.
