I was using Jyers v2.0.1. There does seem to be some work to keep the Jyers firmware alive, there's a fork by LCh-77 that updates to Marlin 2.1 and adds Linear Advance. I've not tried it though.

  In this repository there are the configuration files and releases for the Professional firmware with several features enabled. You can use the Configurator if you want to compile your own custom set of features. You can also request a pre-made binary for a small contribution on the Patreon site.

I did take a brief look at the recent experimental version of the "professional" firmware that also adds Linear Advance , but then jumped fully into Klipper.
