Finally, I used these instructions here to get SD running on the CPU since there is currently no GPU support for Macs. Since it lists line numbers, it would be helpful to use a coding app like Atom that can label line numbers in plain text files. The instructions are for modifying "scripts/txt2img.py". For modifying "scripts/img2img.py", I made a similar modification (namely, changed the line to #model.cuda() for the indicated line).
