  • We considered Firebase at the outset but it was eschewed in favor of Go at the time, but on subsequent second-pass, said MSCSO admin made a pretty compelling case for Firebase based on their reported little-to-no operating cost. So, at that point, I took a chance and ditched attempt #3 (Node/Express) in favor of doing Firebase, even though no-SQL/non-relational isn't really my wheelhouse...

  • Lol that was a quite a read. I have some experience with making a backend and front end with this project. I used flask and I really liked it so I was curious how this project was done . I ended up deploying it on heroku to use the free tier but it’s not read or write to any sorta of databases which I didn’t account for. Lol mine was just for a show and tell for employers but I didn’t end up needing to give them a live demonstration
