I assume you're using the default A320 Neo. That one is buggy as hell and has lots of inoperable switches and unrealistic behavior. Consider checking out the FlyByWire A32NX mod. It's one of the best freeware mods for MSFS, it definitely has a learning curve, but it's worth learning it.
