Enable macOS HiDPI and have a native setting.

  • Since last week I am trying to use hackintosh on my Dell Optiplex 3060 MFF with macOS Monterey. Almost everything is working as it should, except the audio jacks but that's not important for me. My problem is that for some reason I can't enable 1080p HiDPI on my 25 inch Dell monitor. I tried BetterDisplay app but every time I restart my PC after I configure my desired resolution, it brakes the picture, I can see only 1/4 of the picture. Years ago I was using this script https://github.com/xzhih/one-key-hidpi with a real MacBook and it was working great, but now on my hackintosh I can see only 720p HiDPI and the native 1440p witch is making everything too small. Right now I installed SwithResX with 1440x810 but again the UI is too big. I tried to create custom resolution but whatever I do it stays "Not Activated - invalid"
