If there is an update for the YouTube app you sometimes still have to wait for the patches to upgrade to the newest version. Ofc often they will still work, but sometimes something may break. On the patches list linked in 1. you can see for which version the patches are. There are also Revanced updates quite frequently, because we are in an early stage.
