Our great sponsors
  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • obs-studio

OBS Studio - Free and open source software for live streaming and screen recording

  • OBS can record your screen and the desktop audio (and a webcam and separate mic if you want to mix them in). It's usually used to stream, but you can set it up to record to file.

  • jackaudio

  • Linux: Good luck! You can use JACK, which provides something similar to ASIO4ALL (as in generic low-latency audio functionality, but with more flexibility). In conjunction with pulseaudio-module-jack, you are able to route ordinary system audio (browser, media players, OBS, etc) to JACK and vice versa. Here's a guide on how to achieve this. Then you can just set JACK as pd's output and as OBS' input. I successfully set this up on a Debian system.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • Soundflower

MacOS system extension that allows applications to pass audio to other applications. Soundflower works on macOS Catalina.

  • For Mac: install SoundFlower
