Just install an up to date Blobmoji font. I used https://github.com/C1710/blobmoji, download the latest TTF from the Releases, open in the default application, hit Install, and install only for the user.

Basically the same steps with a ttf of the iOS emojis should work. There's one here - https://github.com/PoomSmart/EmojiLibrary/releases/tag/0.15.4. Haven't tested it myself but no reason it shouldn't work.
