Melpa.org contains proprietary trackers (google and twitter)? It disrepecting FSF norm?

  • Thanks, I'm not intended to be harsh against your post or any specific users, my only point is that trackers do works on https://melpa.org via a modern WebVM (improperly named browser, mostly for legacy reasons, as I typically state), I do not like them so I simply do not let them run (NoScript/TPRB on Firefox) in general, for MELPA specifically well... I do use M-x list-packages, I doubt internally-generated request can be tracked by Google Analytics &c and see no point in using the "web view" of MELPA.
