  • Those without technical roles, who aren't looking for business advantage, are going to continue to think what they think. Do not mistake these ideas for principled, rational beliefs. Absolutely do not believe that because someone claims to distrust open source, that what they really want are AS/400 app servers, the most proprietary and closed-source platform still in existence (which has shipped with Apache webserver for 20 years). They probably want Apple, which are utterly stuffed full of open-source with minimal GNU cancer.
