  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale

  • qt-heic-image-plugin

Qt plug-in to allow Qt and KDE based applications to read/write HEIF/HEIC images.

  • In order to make this work in the fairly gwenview app (I am still looking for a good image viewer for Linux), I had to compile install the qt-heic-image-plugin. This works and compiling it was simple enough. Since the plugin exists, I am unsure why it is not simply included gwenview; perhaps it has to do with licensing or something.

  • icloud-for-linux

Access all of your favourite iCloud apps from Linux

  • There is an icloud-for-linux snap. This uses Qt libraries to pull down the iCloud web pages where you can interact with them much the same as in your browser. It has some weird limitations, like I run into some situations in which selecting multiple files or galleries/directories is not possible, but overall this is serviceable. What it provides over going to the iCloud URL in your browser I don't know, but it launches quickly.

  • InfluxDB

Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale. Get real-time insights from all types of time series data with InfluxDB. Ingest, query, and analyze billions of data points in real-time with unbounded cardinality.
