  • signal-desktop

Unofficial Signal Desktop installer for Linux (by snapcrafters)

  • According to this bug report the signal-desktop version is managed manually by the maintainer of the snap package. You can help the maintainer keep the snap package up-to-date via this snapcraft forum thread by testing the latest version which you can install via sudo snap install signal-desktop --edge

  • snapcraft

Package, distribute, and update any app for Linux and IoT.

  • Got a message this morning when opening up Signal client (which was working perfectly yesterday) stating: "This version of Signal Desktop has expired. Please upgrade to the latest version to continue messaging". I am Fedora and that is why I use the Snap images from snapcraft.io. Any idea when this package will be updated there? Running snap refresh shows all my snap packages are up to date.
