Switching nimbus-besu to use websocket instead of http got rid of the uncaught exception errors. Resyncing nimbus-nethermind using an unmerged PR allowed it to sync successfully. Running prysm with an unmerged PR fixed what was causing it to crash. The problem that was causing nimbus to crash with erigon has been identified and a fix is in the works. lighthouse has implemented logic which allows it to recover from the non-consecutive deposit errors still seen in some other clients, so I hope the other teams are able to implement similar measures quickly.
