  • Answer: I don't know why. This is what I do know... During Privacytools review of CTemplar it was revealed we have a coder that lives in Pakistan, and one that is transgender. You can read the whole review discussion here although the comments relating to this discussion have been deleted. Some people suggested that a coder from the middle east was more likely to become a terrorist and a transgender employee is more likely to make sexual advances on people. It was alledged that both of these things were bad for email services. Privacytools assured me that they did not care about coders nationality or sexuality and they advised me to ignore the trolls. After that open discussion, there were a few things I discussed with the PT.io team via email. Then roughly around June of 2020 PT.io told me that we meet all their security standards, and we could be listed on their site. At the same time, I received an anonymous email saying that CTemplar wouldn’t be listed on PT.io until the Transgender & Pakistani were removed from the team. I responded to that emails telling them to go fuck themselves. In hindsight, I should not have sent an unkind email like that. I told my two employees to stay with CTemplar but they eventually quick because their feelings were hurt. Mine would be also if I was them. I miss them though.
