If you're new to nvim and you don't want to go through the hassle of setting up the LSP + autocomplete stuff from scratch (which is a huge pain), check out this plugin. It does all of the painful stuff for you. Once it's setup, all you have to do is open a Go file, and it will install the gopls language server for you and setup the lsp client.
