need help with choosing a distro

it doesn't support my mouse according to this list https://github.com/libratbag/libratbag/tree/master/data/devices . i didn't find anything about mouse acceleration or scroll speed. is polling rate and sensitivity the same thing?

i know that polling rate and sensitivity is different from from acceleration and scroll speed. my issue with the distros is that i couldn't turn of acceleration or change scroll speed. piper doesn't seem to allow me to change those from what i could find from google or https://itsfoss.com/piper-configure-gaming-mouse-linux/ https://github.com/libratbag/piper . i don't have access to my pc for a couple of days so can't install it to see for myself
