I think this page might help you. Lutris handles their own wine builds, they just recommend you install wine dependencies separately. For installing lutris, you should refer to their downloads page.

I would look into winbtrfs. That what I switched it and it has worked pretty well. I did have some stuttering issues but turning of quotas fixed that and btrfs has a lot of cool features too, such as zstd compression which saved me over 100gb on 700gb of games with no performance hit. https://github.com/maharmstone/btrfs
This project seems to be an option: https://gitlab.com/patrakov/dcaenc, but i just wanted some reassurance to avoid hitting a bitter dead-end... (I single boot windows atm on the gaming PC)
