I believe that the current standard is to use QMK. Which board to choose to be able to use Bluefruit LE SPI Friend at later date? Cost is not an issue, so I'm searching for something that is robust
It might be worth looking into an ESP32 board and the MK32 firmware. It won’t be as feature rich as QMK, but I think it will get the job done.
