Looks like one can't use https://github.com/balsimpson/alexa-radio as it's a local http address. You can use a gist to convert a WAN address from http to https but not a LAN address. If anybody knows a way, please post?
I took your idea but did it differently. After installing https://www.streamwhatyouhear.com/download/ I downloaded the zip from https://github.com/1Panic/AlexaPcStreaming. Unzipped and replaced the installed SWYH files with these ones and checked off the options as stated so that the PC stream always uses port 80. Make sure SWYH is not running before copying the files over. Played something on the PC and SWYH gave me two streams, one of which was the PC's ip address. Added that address to a custom station, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09MQ7LFCT and Bob's your uncle. I did try My Media but couldn't get it working, so doing it this way saves me some pennies as well as giving me a working solution.
