  • privatezilla

    👀👮🐢🔥Performs a privacy & security check of Windows 10

  • There is a good open-source alternative called Privatezilla in case you're having doubts about ShutUp10, but in almost a year of my experience using it, I don't see there being anything wrong with it, it does the job well, and yes, using ShutUp10 after a fresh install is highly recommended, however, I would recommend you to use both ShutUp10 and Privatezilla, because there are simply things that ShutUp10 can't do, like removing every pre-installed app in Windows 10 besides Microsoft Store as well as removing Cortana completely.

  • simplewall

Discontinued Simple tool to configure Windows Filtering Platform (WFP) which can configure network activity on your computer.

  • For example, there was a bug which exposed the filter engine, something which is supposed to require admin privileges, to all unprivileged users/software, and this bug persisted even if you uninstalled simplewall. This was fixed now and is unlikely to happen again (although I don't see any regression tests for it).
