ntfy iOS client testing (request for testers) 🥳

This page summarizes the projects mentioned and recommended in the original post on /r/selfhosted

Our great sponsors
  • InfluxDB - Collect and Analyze Billions of Data Points in Real Time
  • Mergify - Updating dependencies is time-consuming.
  • SonarLint - Clean code begins in your IDE with SonarLint
  • ntfy

Send push notifications to your phone or desktop using PUT/POST

Hey folks, many of you have requested an iOS app for ntfy (push notifications via HTTP PUT/POST). Well here it is 🥳, or at least a first version of it. I'm asking those of you who have an iOS device and have requested it to help test and give feedback.

  • AltStore

AltStore is an alternative app store for non-jailbroken iOS devices.

Sure! Does it let you build it out into an IPA? Majority use something like Alstore to sideload apps (IPA): https://altstore.io/ (this doesn't even require JB)

  • InfluxDB

Collect and Analyze Billions of Data Points in Real Time. Manage all types of time series data in a single, purpose-built database. Run at any scale in any environment in the cloud, on-premises, or at the edge.

  • SignTools

✒ A free, self-hosted platform to sideload iOS apps without a computer

Also will add this link for you to check out. I'm currently giving it a spin to see if it's a FOSS alternative to AltStore: https://github.com/SignTools/SignTools :)

  • python-omemo

An open python implementation of the OMEMO Multi-End Message and Object Encryption protocol.

    https://github.com/Syndace/python-omemo (python) - session

  • omemo-utils

    Utilities for OMEMO media sharing.

https://github.com/wstrm/omemo-utils (c) command line tool that more or less fits that workflow

  • Mergify

Updating dependencies is time-consuming.. Solutions like Dependabot or Renovate update but don't merge dependencies. You need to do it manually while it could be fully automated! Add a Merge Queue to your workflow and stop caring about PR management & merging. Try Mergify for free.

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
