In general, it's best to avoid Jellyfin in a container. It breaks constantly in terms of hardware acceleration. Most notably QSV. Which is very popular given how nearly every Intel CPU comes with an IGPU. I tried it and gave up. You should install Jellyfin natively if you care about that. Otherwise your CPU will be used to transcode media if needed. If you do not have an adequate CPU or cooling solution for the task, it will suffer. I have zero problems using QSV drivers for hardware acceleration when installed natively.
