It's admittedly a pet peeve of mine, as the owner of a small pedal company (with the tagline "decidedly NOT regurgitating the same handful of tired circuits" at the top of my site), especially when paired with #2 which is spot-on. As annoying as it is to see all these other small pedal companies doing well selling the same tired circuits, it's what the customers want.
