  • terraform

Terraform enables you to safely and predictably create, change, and improve infrastructure. It is a source-available tool that codifies APIs into declarative configuration files that can be shared amongst team members, treated as code, edited, reviewed, and versioned.

  • This is one of the difference between the Azure and AWS provider. While the Azure approach is definitely more verbose, it really helps with tracking changes in a provider which is why we ended up reverting to each resource having a cloud parameter. You can read more about this in this AWS provider issue: https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/issues/3454

  • kubespy

Tools for observing Kubernetes resources in real time, powered by Pulumi.

  • Just wanted to mention a Terraform alternative I really like, especially cause it's infrastructure as code (IaC) http://pulumi.com/, though I'm not sure about their approach on multi cloud, haven't used it in quite a while

NOTE: The number of mentions on this list indicates mentions on common posts plus user suggested alternatives. Hence, a higher number means a more popular project.
