Since we are currently arguing whether AOT is relevant for IP protection, I'm going to take a position that it is. My position is on the based on the premise that you're trying to recover the original source code (not any source code that produces the assembly), and with the information lost you just aren't going to pull out anything like the original source, script kiddie or not.
