  • zaread

A (very) lightweight MS Office file reader

  • I use https://github.com/paoloap/zaread which will convert the file to a pdf and then opens it in zathura

  • wordgrinder

A word processor which gets the hell out of your way and lets you get some work done.

  • This depends on the content of the .odt files. If it's just rich text there are many tools including wordgrinder. Libreoffice can also convert between text and odt using --convert-to flag from command line or you can use odt2txt or pandoc. If the odt file as many complex formats including equations, drawings, references and so on then the conversion may not work properly.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.

  • lesspipe

lesspipe - display more with less

  • Lesspipe.

  • ONLYOFFICE

ONLYOFFICE Docs is a free collaborative online office suite comprising viewers and editors for texts, spreadsheets and presentations, forms and PDF, fully compatible with Office Open XML formats: .docx, .xlsx, .pptx and enabling collaborative editing in real time.

  • There is an online/in-browser (read: Google Docs) office suite that is open source and self-hostable called OnlyOffice. This might work for you if you have a machine elsewhere where you can run the server and just use the office suite from your browser.
