  • WorkOS - The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS
  • InfluxDB - Power Real-Time Data Analytics at Scale
  • SaaSHub - Software Alternatives and Reviews
  • kube-prometheus

Use Prometheus to monitor Kubernetes and applications running on Kubernetes

  • ECS is not zero maintenance and can be very expensive even when compared to the monthly cost of an EKS control plane. Last I checked compute on fargate was approx 2x the cost of compute on ec2. Advanced configurations like mutual TLS authentication require significantly more manual setup on ECS than on EKS. I would also argue that good observability and monitoring is easier to achieve on EKS with the help of projects like kube-prometheus. The ecosystem surrounding kubernetes is one of its biggest strengths.

  • WorkOS

The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
