WorkOS
The modern identity platform for B2B SaaS. The APIs are flexible and easy-to-use, supporting authentication, user identity, and complex enterprise features like SSO and SCIM provisioning.
ECS is not zero maintenance and can be very expensive even when compared to the monthly cost of an EKS control plane. Last I checked compute on fargate was approx 2x the cost of compute on ec2. Advanced configurations like mutual TLS authentication require significantly more manual setup on ECS than on EKS. I would also argue that good observability and monitoring is easier to achieve on EKS with the help of projects like kube-prometheus. The ecosystem surrounding kubernetes is one of its biggest strengths.
