I saw it mentioned before but just so you are sure to see it https://3ds.hacks.guide/ has everything you need to fix this. Hacking and CFW on this system is very easy. It is highly likely that the Luma version on the 3ds is prior to version 10.2 and therefore it needed to be updated before you did the system update for the eshop. It can be recovered, between this link and the r/3dshacks that Poor-Crab linked above you should be able to get it up and running pretty quick,

download https://github.com/LumaTeam/Luma3DS/releases and put the files on root of SD card. then download https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases and put the "gm9" folder to root of the SD card, and godmode9.firm to /luma/payloads/ (create the folders if they dont exist)
