And in regards to third party trackers, there are open source solutions, like an app that disables other apps' inbuilt trackers upon installation, on top of that I have another app that modifies my hosts file so that even if a tracker somehow ran, it could almost certainly not establish a connection to the server it tries to phone home to (conveniently it's also an ad blocker). I almost exclusively have free open source apps and I get them from an alternative free open source software "store". Every app that I use that is not open source and does not absolutely depend on the internet, just doesn't get permission to use the internet, thanks inbuilt firewall.
