Laravel API scaffolding, only for web?

Reading https://laravel.com/docs/9.x/starter-kits#breeze-and-next, it says, "Laravel Breeze can also scaffold an authentication API that is ready to authenticate modern JavaScript applications such as those powered by Next, Nuxt, and others". So if I'm not mistaken, you can only couple this Laravel generated API with Javascript WEB applications like Next.js, etc. and not of other type of apps like React Native, Electron, etc?
