If it needs to be secure (most likely) you could use the same JSON data method above, but hide it behind an API so anyone requesting it would have to have a secure key. That would require some extra work, perhaps something like Appwrite could work for this? (https://appwrite.io) I’m not sure, as I haven’t used it.
i use swiftnio to spin up http servers. lots of documentation online. your app logic will be the same as ios but without swiftui and uikit.
