AdGuardHome has standalone binaries that are fantastic if you don't like docker: https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdGuardHome
filebrowser - web based file manager, direct access to files
FWIW Tailscale can be self hosted.
2) Also underrated because it's the only docker image for a VPN provider that supports portforwarding & automatically updates the configured port in QBittorrent settings: https://github.com/thrnz/docker-wireguard-pia
3) I tried a lot eventually ended up with this one: very simple and friendly but just enough features Wireguard interface for your VPN server: https://github.com/ngoduykhanh/wireguard-ui
It's run it without docker. But, yes, it's available with docker too: https://github.com/nicolargo/glances
I tried them all. I settled on wg-access-server.
My bad. Should have mentioned the updated fork of that image. This one: https://github.com/freifunkMUC/wg-access-server
smtp_to_telegram - smtp server that forwards everything to you via telegram, great for notifications
Healthchecks - monitoring, I prefer it over uptime Kuma, I can make sure my scripts are running for borg backups and updating my ddns and other things as well as making sure all my services are running.
https://www.passwordstore.org/ and sync with anything you like (e.g. Synching). You can share passwords with multiple people and use it everywhere. I like it because it has the same functions (excluding web ui) with a much smaller code base.
Lately it's been 2FAuth. Self-hosted MFA. Get your crap out of Google/Microsoft/Twilio/Duo and just roll your own. Doesn't require port forwarding or anything, it just works.
I'm biased as an Appwrite maintainer, but... Appwrite is pretty underrated!
Don't get me wrong, I like some of the dashboards provided for my car (via TeslaMate), but I think some people might be going a bit overboard.
I use mpd from https://www.musicpd.org/. I run it on my linux router, which has head phone jack and connect to a pair of speakers, and can control either from my desktop or my phone.
was confused as well. He linked the dev page that's why. Go to the homepage where you'll understand what it actually does https://languagetool.org
It might be wise to consider using encfs for data protection, it is considered to be insecure. A lot of users switched to gocryptfs which works pretty much the same but following modern encryption practices.
That's the plan. Going to be putting it here.
