Phoenix is a self-custodial Bitcoin wallet using Lightning to send/receive payments. (by ACINQ)
Just use Phoenix Wallet (https://phoenix.acinq.co/). With that you only pay a small fee (1% i think, or maybe 0.5%?) per each deposit. Once you deposit some BTC, you can spend at any merchant that accepts Lightning as payment and pay a tiny (few sats) fee per transaction. It's non-custodial afaik.
