USB WiFi Adapter Information for Linux

  • Here's a great resource: https://github.com/morrownr/USB-WiFi

  • rtl88x2bu

rtl88x2bu driver updated for current kernels.

  • I have Asus ac53 nano, and the drivers are not included in the kernel. I had to use this driver or this one. All I had to do is install the kernel-devel and kernel-headers then build it from source. They both worked for me. The second was a lot easier to build. As for upgrading the kerenel, every time I upgrade the kernel, the system automatically updates the kernel-headers to match the new one. Never had an issue. I know some TP-link adaptors work out of the box, but I have a laptop, and I really liked how small this nano adaptor is. Hope this helps.
